Photos by Amy Braun | The rain held and promises to give us much needed moisture on Thurs. Thank you, Lord. The temperatures were ideal. Most importantly was the attitude brought to the day by the class. They were eager and ready for the challenge.
Groups went to a variety of locations, listened to individual stories, came away with a greater appreciation for our handicapped neighbors and leaned some new skills. You will have to listen and ask to obtain details.
Special thanks to those who hosted our groups at sites; for the adults in house and out that supervised and rolled up their sleeves as well. Thanks to our community volunteers that helped to make this day a reality. Thanks to the hard working staff that filled in at school, drove vehicles, lent a helping hand, lead by example and listened while students shared GIGs.
If you're curious what that means, ask a Freshman, Senior or Junior.
Thank you all,
Barbara and Kathy T.
